  1. Queries with DEMAT and Trading Account - Kotak & Zerodha

    Email Query from Amaregouda Malipatil
I use 3-in-1 account in KOTAK I am planning to open another trading account with ZERODHA mainly for intraday and F&O again i don't want to close my kotak demat as well as trading account .

I'm having some questions on below cases please suggest me on same

CASE 01:- I open both demat account and trading account with ZERODHA
is it possible to link my KOTAK Saving account???
can i have two demat account and 2 trading account ??? linked to single kOTAK saving account????

CASE 02:- I open only trading account not open Demat account to ZERODHA. I link kotak demat account to new trading account .
What advantages or disadvantage or face problem? Is it expensive broking company charge more?

  2. CASE 01:- I open both demat account and trading account with ZERODHA
is it possible to link my KOTAK Saving account???

    Answer:
yes, you can link your demat and trading account with Zerodha to KOTAK Saving account.

yes, you can have 2 demat and 2 trading account linked to single Kotak Savings account ...

CASE 02:- I open only trading account not open Demat account to ZERODHA. I link kotak demat account to new trading account .
What advantages or disadvantage or face problem? Is it expensive broking company charge more?
    Answer:
Well yes, Kotak Demat can be linked to Zerodha. But its a clumsy approach.

You can buy shares via Zerodha, but to sell them you need to go to Kotak. That's the major disadvantage and you will pay yearly AMC for both for demat

Kotak brokerage will be expensive and Zerodha being fixed brokerage will be cheaper
