Demat account in ICICI Direct and Trading Account in RK Global/Zerodha

  1. Demat account in ICICI Direct and Trading Account in RK Global/Zerodha

I have a 3-in-1 account in ICICI Bank. As ICICI brokerage charges are quite high and I am focusing on Intraday trading. If I preserve current demat account and open a trading account with an angel broker will I face any issues?

    Thanks.

No, you should not have any issues ... You can open multiple number of accounts as long as all of them have the same PAN Card ...

Its a good idea to have a separate low brokerage account for trading and a trusted one like ICICI for long term investments

Okay, how does this work. As you have mentioned the word "trusted", I am keen to know if connecting my demat account to a third party trading account will give full access to my demat account to the brokerage entity.

You don't need to connect and all ... Use ICICI to invest in long term equity .... Use RK Global / Zerodha to trade in Futures and Options
