Thanks for this useful video, till now i was also of the opinion that last traded price was the closing price and sometimes got the confusion at my trading terminal when it showed different values. Now i know why. But any idea why they are doing it such way rather than LTP?

Not exactly sure ... It acts like a normalizing factor taking the average of last 30 minute trades as many intra-day margin trades get squared off in this period ...
After seeing this, I came to know about this. But I was unclear of one thing from the video.
You are pointing to some lowest price and highest price in the intraday chart and explained as average. I got confused that the closing price is the average of highest and lowest price in last 30 minutes.
I did a bit of search on my own. Finally found that Closing Price is the weighted average of all the trades happening in the last 30 minutes.
I mean
Closing price = sum of all [Traded Price x Traded Quantity] in last 30 mins (divided by) Total number of shares traded in last 30 mins.
