A novice trading question
Hi All,
I have joined this forum today only.I am also new to trading.I have zerodha trading account.I have watched Manikandan's you tube videos. He explains intra-day trading nicely using google finance.
I used to buy/sell 50-100 shares using MIS(in zerodha). But Mani's explanation always hover around in lot size which is Futures jargon.
My question is every professional traders are day trading in Futures only?In other words, intra-day means to go long/short in Futures? (not in spot(MIS) ?)...will you guys won't buy/sell in spot stocks in cash market? will you directly day trade only via futures?
Please clarify this.

Not necessarily, Futures and options are highly traded in NSE because it is a leveraged product.
Spot market also being traded a lot by retail, but most of the chunk in spot market is traded by institutional investors, which influences its price to the most.

Additionally, you may be a day trader who needs their skills sharpened. Practice is especially vital for day trading, since you’re making decisions in the moment.
