  1. FII / DII Accumulation Chart Since 2006 in Indian Stock Markets

    NSE has info of FII and DII Trading activity (http://www.nseindia.com/content/equi...fii_nsebse.htm) only since 2006 and hence i could process data only since 2006.

    NSE has daily net trade value of both FII and DII. I processed that to get the accumulation done by FII and DII since 2006 in Indian stock markets to analyse and got interesting results.

    Below's the FII (Foreign Institutional Investors) accumulation alone in Indian stock market in crores since 2006,


    Below's the DII (Domestic Institutional Investors) accumulation alone in Indian stock market in crores since 2006,

  2. FII accumulation since 2006 has been in the negative ( - 40 thousand crores) ... DII's have been accumulating more consistently and is at over 1 Lakh Crores since 2007.

    DII's have contributed more to Indian markets since 2007 than FII, although FII net trade volume is always higher.







  3. A substantial portion of FII investments come in during the last five months of the calendar year.
    In the year 2009, 63 per cent of the total investments came in during the last five months, while the figure stood at 57 per cent for the year 2010.
