Hi
I am NRI opened NRE account through ICICI bank and also have opened a demat account through them. But through ICICI direct am not able to invest in IPO. I have already posted a query to the nri customer service. But does anybody can guide me on this if you have come across with the same issue.

That sounds new to me (I am not an NRI though) ... Do you see any error or notice when you click on IPO tab inside your ICICIDIRECT account ?
If you get a solution from ICICI, share with us on this thread so that others can benefit ...

I got a call from the NRI help desk of ICICI, they clarified my query. I have opened a NRE account. Which has PIN acct and NON Pin account. I can access the IPO , Mutual fund and other related investment other than the secondary market buying and selling shares through Non Pin account. So now i have changed my account to NPIN and able to view the IPO offers. Also i understand that through PIN account i can buy and sell shares. But if i get any bonus shares from any company i cannot sell it. It has again to be transfered to Non Pin account and then i have to sell it.

okay ... So Non-Pin account is what NRI's need to choose for best functional DEMAT account with ICICI ... Thanks for sharing
