More abt EPS
The BSE value in"moneycontrol.com" is current share value Is it rite??
Then
If suppose i buy a share of 2000rs n after few days if its value is 2300 then i decide to sell it via online trading. wen i place it on trading the value fluctuates until myself n buyer agree up on value .
suppose the value is 2350. i decide to sell. now i get a profit of 350 for 1 share.
My doubt is how EPS works on now.. If suppose EPS is 38rs How n wen actually wil that 38 rs will get added up 2 share

Ultimately, an investor or trader, makes profit out of fluctuations in Share price and not EPS.
However, rising EPS fundamentally drives the share price higher over a period of time and vice versa.
EPS only varies as and when quarterly results are announced (Once every 3 months) and otherwise stays static. Short term news and expectations of future EPS drive share prices in the short term.
Cheers!
