How a specific scrip days high and low price decided by exchange like NSE/BSE
Hi Folks,
Could someone of you throw me some light on how a specific scrip price decided as days high and low price by exchange like NSE/BSE?
It could be helpful if you provide a suitable example to understand it better.

Trade happens when a buyer and seller agrees on a price. That is the LTP (Last Traded Price). So in a day, LTP changes based on demand and supply on the stock, news flow etc. So there will be lot of price points at which share will get exchanged between buyer and seller. The highest price point is day high while lowest price point is day low.
Hope I understood your question correct

The exchange does not decide the high and low price of the scrip. At any price of the stock, there will be buyers and sellers. When the buying force is stronger, the price increases and when the selling force is strong, the price decreases. The highest point in a day is the day-high of the stock, and the lowest price is the day-low of the stock. This price comes naturally due to buying and selling and is not determined by the exchange.
