In a bid to grab a silver of online pie, Google has rolled out Google+, a new social network. Its basic features are similar to Facebook - users can share text, photos, videos and links. Each Google+ post can be shared with entire web or a specific circle of people. Its clear Google has looked at weak spots in Facebook.

As connections are made in Google+, you are asked to assign each person to a circle: friends, family, acquaintances, etc. Thus, what you share with friends cant be seen by your family and vice versa.
