    I am 42yrs and want to start trading. I have zero knowledge in trading. I am opening zerodha account through bse2nse. Can you please tell me how much will be the initial expense to start trading. The expense for opening account etc etc ...

    It is the capital that you need to trade, depends on whether you are going to do intraday in equity/futures/options or positional trades. If you are new to markets, please don't start trading straight away. Buy shares in CNC (delivery) and watch them over a period of time till you are comfortable with market. You can start trading at a later stage. It is not just the knowledge on markets is required to trade successfully, there are other factors as well, like our decision making, fear/greed on looking at loss/profit, following trading plan, risk management etc
