You can trade one lot in Options between 3000 to 5000 ... yes ... It varies based on lot size and premium (LTP) ...

Basically, (Lot Size * Premium) is what will be needed to trade in options as a buyer ...

And, as a buyer, it will be safer to trade in at the money call option and with at-least more than 2 weeks to expiry time ...
