Flipkart Expected Delivery Date now Shows almost 10 Days from Order Date

Well, i think everyone loved Flipkart for its speedy delivery than anything else. I think they used to deliver within 3 days.

Even their TV ads brag about delivery time.

I just used Flipkart today and to my shock found the Expected Delivery date to be almost 10 days from the Order date. I got the feeling of falling into a trap, as it was shown after i made the payment online with credit-card.

I have mailed the customer care, hoping that the expected delivery date is just for name sake and that they will be delivering soon.

But, this is totally a shock to me and i will think twice before using Flipkart again.
Flipkart is not speedy delivery anymore. A total disappointment for all who thought that online shopping had improved in India.

Got reply from customer care of Flipkart. A typical reply from any company which is focused on making more profits.

We certainly understand your concern.

We would like to inform you that your order for the above mentioned products is in the process of fulfillment. The order would be delivered to you by December 13, 2012(as per the time frame mentioned in our website). Once the order is shipped, we will be sending you a shipping confirmation e-mail with courier details using which you could track the status of the consignment.

However, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to expedite the delivery.

We request your kind co-operation in this matter.

10 days is maximum time which they are saying but actual delivery of the product is much faster than that.........

True, But there are some products which their SLA itself is 10 days and in this case i was informed 10 days later that stock was not available
