Indian markets continued to gain in early trade for the fourth day on Friday. The 30-share benchmark index,BSE SENSEX opened flat with a rise of 7.37 points or 0.04% at 17,546.04, while the broad based NSE Nifty started with a fall of 2.60 points or 0.05%, at 5,324.70. At 09.20 a.m., the Sensex was trading down 37.21 points or 0.21% at 17,501.46 with 22 components falling. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 14.85 points or 0.28% at 5,312.45 with 37 components falling.The IT index was at 5,670.85, down by 29.2 points or by 0.51%. The major losers were Mphasis (1.33%), Infosys (0.74%), Tata Consultancy Services (0.51%), Hexaware Technologies (0.28%) and Tech Mahindra (0.13%).
