I use ICICIDirect and i am providing instructions for the same.
Once you login to ICICIDirect, in the "Trade & Invest" Section, there's a tab for "Overseas Trading". We need to enable it with ICICI Securities Ltd before we can start investing oversees.
ICICIDirect Proof required:
To open an Overseas Trading Account you need to fill up a new account opening form. You would also have to furnish copies of the below mentioned Identity and residence proofs. You will be able to access overseas trading through your current ICICIdirect user id and password. click here to enable overseas trading. Our representative will contact you to complete the documentation.
Proof of Identity / Residence:
1. Copy of valid passport (as a proof of identity and residence), or
2. Copy of valid driving license (as a proof of identity and residence), or
3. Copy of PAN card (as a proof of your identity) and banker's letter (as a proof of your residence)
Note: The documents provided as proof should bear the same address of the applicant as per the records of ICICI Securities Ltd.

overseastrading@icicidirect.com with your 8 digit ICICI DMAT Account and executives will come to collect the forms.
Charges & Brokerage:- One time opening charge of 999 Rs to be given as a cheque to "ICICI Securities Ltd".
- Brokerage charges of 0.75% or $ 9 whichever is higher.
Once i open the account, i'll post more details on how to buy/sell, brokerage details and so on.
