List of Few IPO’s which are expected in 2011 :

L&T Finance: L&T Finance is one of the leading NBFCs in the country and offers a wide spectrum of financial products and services for trade, industry and agriculture.

MicroMax Mobiles: Micromax is the biggest Indian domestic mobile handsets company and has been growing explosively in the fast growing telecom market since they started in January 2008. A Rs crores IPO is expect soon!

Delhi Metro Rail Corp: The companies name explains what business it is in currently! The Delhi Metro will be needing more funds for expanding it’s current rail network and the listing could contribute a substantial amount of funds required for it’s expansion.

Reliance Life: A Life Insurance company from Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group. Last IPO from this group was Reliance Power.

HDFC Life: An Indian Insurance company plans to get listed on Indian Stock Exchange this year!

The Loot: The LOOT is a chain of multi-brand discount stores successfully running in various cities. Plans to come up with a Rs 100 crore odd IPO.

Jindal Power: Jindal Power Limited subsidiary of Jindal Steel and Power Limited is planning to enter capital markets with its initial public issue (IPO) of Rs 7000 crore.

SAIL, ONGC FPO's are also most expected in 2011.

Which investments would you feel/recommend for a first timer like me. ?
I want to keep the risks and investments balanced and hence i was looking for IPO's or Mutual funds (ETF's).

Watch the IPO section of this forum. Always apply on the last date after watching the subscription bid no's. I will be posting on chat on which IPO's to apply.
