The EMA Analysis is very simple.
  • If the green line is above the red line consistently, Sensex is bullish.
  • If the green line is below the red line consistently, Sensex is bearish.
Futures & Options Traders - Intra-day:
For those who do intra-day or short term trades, 3 day EMA and 15 day EMA are very crucial. The below chart has the 3 day EMA in green and 15 day EMA in red. When 3d EMA is below 15d EMA, 15d EMA levels act as resistance which when breached starts a bull run and vice versa for a bear run.



Long Term Sensex Predictions:
To predict long term support and resistance, 50 day EMA and 200 day EMA are very useful.
  • If Current Sensex Value (Candle sticks in the chart) is above 50 day EMA and 200 day EMA (Green and red lines respectively), Sensex is in a bullish mode.
  • If Current Sensex Value (Candle sticks in the chart) is below 50 day EMA and 200 day EMA (Green and red lines respectively), Sensex is in a bearish mode.
