May 16th is the results ... We will need to enter between May 12th to May 15th 2014 ... I will be e-mailing the clients around May 10th on the levels that i will look to enter myself ....

  4. ok, thank you.

  5. Hi Mani, Why only bank nifty is chosen? Few scrips like Adani Ent, Reliance, IFCI has got more political interests and we can see more volatility in those once stocks. So, I think we may reap more profits in Straddles. What do you say?
    Thanks
    Vijay

Vijay, Last time, only the index based stocks had immediate reaction to election results .... Other stocks picked up a week later ... Also trading on options on stocks is not advisable as volumes are less and liquidity crunch will be bad for buyers ... Trading Futures on stocks is fine, but this strategy does not involve Futures ...

  7. hi mani, could you pls confirm that i am in your mailing list. many thanks. kindest regards.

  8. Mani, From now on there will be more option buyers. So, implied volatility will start to increase and I think, options will be relatively costly by 9th may. Is it not good idea to start build straddle positions from now itself? have you studied the price movements in 2009 when elections was going on and by the time results are just due?
    Thanks
    Vijay
