    Hello Mani,

    Thanks for sharing the help document "Art of Stock Investing". It was

    really helpful to understand the basic technical terms used in

    trading. All the scenarios explained clear with screenshots. Hats off.

    I have already opened a zerodha account through bse2nse.com. Do I need to open a demat account separately for trading purpose. I have

    received the login details for Kites & other applications.

    I am more interested to do intraday trading as I am available full day

    with internet facility. I need your guiding hands to step on to the

    real platform.

    I'm replying very late. Hope this helps if you are still looking for answer. Demat is required only if you are buying shares for delivery. If you are doing intraday only, demat is not required. I recommend to have demat and buy equity for long term wealth building. Brokerage is zero for delivery based trades in zerodha.
